Pizza at the touch of a button: Artisan enjoyment from the Carpe Diem vending machine

You come out of the of a Pascha, you stand for a long time at the goods collection point Ikea in Ibiza or are you simply hungry when all the restaurants are already on siesta or closed? Then the pizza vending machine is the Pizzeria Carpe Diem from Jesus the perfect solution. This pizzeria is known for its typical Artisan Pizzas*, prepared with high-quality, fresh ingredients. Directly on the Cepsa petrol station am Ikea roundabout, where you can get Coke and water, there is a striking red machinewhere you can order a fresh pizza in just 3 minutes.

Pizza machine

Yesterday we finally managed to test the pizza from this vending machine. Since we have already been to the friendly Pizzeria Carpe Diem in Jesus our expectations were high. What can you expect from a pizza from a vending machine, we thought. But we were pleasantly surprised!

Pizza

After a few minutes, our pizza with mushrooms and ham, which we ordered on the touchscreen, came out of the machine in a white box. It was hot, fresh and had the typical Carpe Diem taste that we know from their artisan pizzas. What was particularly impressive was that the mushrooms were fresh and not from a can. The pizza was already pre-cut and the price of EUR 12,20 could be paid conveniently contactless with a smartphone or card.

There are some tables with benches next to the machine and drinks are available at the gas station. There is also a toilet. This was our first pizza from a vending machine - and we really loved it and the selection of pizzas is great!

Artisan Pizza

*A Artisan Pizza is a hand-crafted pizza that is characterized by its high quality and attention to detail. The term “Artisan" (in German "Skilled trades") refers to the traditional, often manual production method in which the ingredients and the process are in the foreground.

Here are some characteristics of an Artisan Pizza:

  1. Hand-formed dough: The dough is usually kneaded and formed by hand, without the use of machines. This results in a more individual and rustic form of pizza.
  2. High-quality ingredients: Artisan pizzas generally use fresh, high-quality ingredients. This applies to both the dough and the toppings, such as fresh tomato sauce, high-quality cheese, fresh vegetables and locally produced meat.
  3. Long dough rising time: The dough of an artisan pizza is often left to rest for a long period of time, sometimes even overnight, to develop flavor and texture.
  4. Traditional baking method: The pizza is often baked in a traditional wood-fired oven at high temperatures, resulting in a crispy crust and a special aroma.
  5. Creative toppings: Artisan pizzas often use creative and unusual toppings that differ from the classic pizza toppings.

In summary, there is a Artisan Pizza for quality, authenticity and craftsmanship. It is usually a little more expensive than a conventional pizza, but offers a special taste experience.

Flightright – When passenger rights simply work

Flight delays, cancellations, or overbookings are unfortunately not uncommon. However, many passengers are unaware that they are entitled to compensation in such cases – and even fewer know how to pursue it. This is precisely where Flight right comes into play: a pioneer among legal tech companies and market leader in the field of air passenger rights.

Specialist in EU passenger rights since 2010

Since its founding in 2010, Flightright has pursued a clear goal: to help passengers assert their rights against airlines – quickly, easily, and risk-free. The legal basis for this is the EU Air Passenger Rights Regulation 261/2004, which, among other things, provides compensation of up to 600 euros for flight problems.

How Flightright works

Using the service is incredibly simple: Affected parties enter the key details of their flight online – within a few minutes, the system automatically checks whether a claim exists. If so, Flightright handles the entire process with the airline, including all legal steps. Even court proceedings can be conducted upon request – at no additional cost to the customer.

The highlight: Payment is only made if the claim is successful. If no payout is made, there are no costs. If compensation is successful, Flightright retains a commission from the compensation amount. This model ensures maximum fairness and transparency.

Retroactive up to three years possible

Many people don’t know that even flights that took place in the past can still be compensated – usually up to three years retroactively. It is therefore worthwhile to have older cases reviewed again.

How much is the compensation?

The amount of compensation depends on the flight route:

  • EUR 250 for short distances up to 1.500 km
  • EUR 400 for medium-haul flights between 1.500 km and 3.500 km
  • EUR 600 for long distances over 3.500 km

This usually requires an arrival delay of at least three hours – or a flight cancelled at short notice for which the airline is responsible.

Why Flightright?

What sets Flightright apart is not only its fair success model, but also its impressive success rate of around 99% in legal proceedings. With over 600 million euros in compensation payments enforced Flightright is one of the absolute pioneers in Europe.

The provider also scores points with transparent communication: The status of the case can be viewed online at any time – conveniently from the sofa or on the go via smartphone.

For all those who do not want to be left with the damage

No one should forgo their right to compensation just because the process seems complicated. With Flightright, asserting your rights is child's play – without any stress, paperwork, or legal fees. Anyone who has experienced flight trouble can now easily protect themselves and have their compensation pursued professionally.

Check here whether you are entitled to money – and in the best case scenario, receive compensation soon
