People from Ibiza: Luna by Eisenhart Rothe

Lunas Ibiza: From the first encounter to eternal love on the magical island

In 1990, Luna first set foot on the island IbizaShe had booked a two-week package holiday through “Fortuna-Reisen”, where she only found out where she was staying on site. Although the hotel was in San Antonio was simple and an ant trail led across the room, she immediately lost her heart to IbizaIn contrast to her travel companion, who flew back to Germany after two weeks, Moon She found a job as a dancer in the KU (later Privilege) and received 4.000 pesetas per night, of which 3.000 pesetas went to her apartment in Figueretas. This left her with about 12 DM a day to live on. She stayed until the end of the season and enjoyed every minute.

The changes that Ibiza Luna is heartbroken by the changes that Ibiza has undergone since then. Back then, Ibiza was much freer in every respect. People of different cultures, skin colors, sexual preferences and income brackets lived together peacefully. This liberal approach was immensely inspiring and spiritually enriching. Today, when everything is more regulated and there is an unhealthy imbalance in favor of the luxury clientele, much of Ibiza's original soul has been lost. Profit is the main focus, and authenticity has little value anymore.

Luna is particularly bothered by the brutal price spiral, which makes it difficult even for the middle class to vacation on the island. Simple things like a cheap meal after a hard day at work or a coffee on the beach are hardly possible anymore. For the locals, the situation is even more precarious, as affordable housing is becoming increasingly scarce, people are losing their livelihoods and living on the poverty line.

Since her first visit, Moon clear that one day they will Ibiza wanted to live. In 1999 she met her husband Alexander on the island and immediately talked about their plan to move to Ibiza. He agreed and when they got married in 2005, at the end of 2006 they put their plan into action and moved to the island permanently. Despite the changes, they have never regretted this step.

Professionally, Moon very busy and rarely seen during the day. When she has time, she likes to visit the Bar Anita in San Carlos, where many gin business meetings have taken place. When she needs a break, she retreats into nature. In the evenings, she likes to stroll through Santa Eulalia or Ibiza Town and visit the “Locals Only“ at the Plaza del Parque or the Nagai on the road to San Juan, which she appreciates for its family atmosphere.

With the move to Ibiza, Luna began her career as Schriftstels and published her first book with Heyne Verlag, a collection of erotic stories that immediately became a bestseller. After a second volume, she switched to fiction and set her plot in Ibiza. But an unexpected turn of events led her to the Gin production. Together with her husband and two friends she created the Ibiza Gin "L.A.W.', which was so well received that they turned it into a business. This new career put their writing career on hold for several years.

Despite her love of gin, Luna has returned to her roots as a writer.

She recently presented her novel “The sins of others“ finished, which is 17. June has been published.

The story of Luna’s exciting novel of fate:
She is not who she thought she was! With this devastating discovery in her luggage, Tessa boards the plane heading south. She wants to visit her aunt, the eccentric Anna Berg, with whose help she hopes to unravel the secret of her origins. Anna, once Tessa's mother's best friend, has been kept quiet by the family since she ran off to a Spanish island with the famous pop singer Bruno Berg more than fifty years ago. Tessa instinctively understands that she will find answers in this woman. But while the old lady's memories take her to 1970s Spain - a world between absolute freedom and outdated traditions - Tessa does not seem to be getting any closer to her own story. She senses that Anna is hiding something from her. When a horrific murder occurs, Tessa is drawn into a dangerous whirlpool of events that are tragically linked to her aunt's past as well as her own...

In her powerful, colorful narrative style, the author Luna weaves together suspense, current events and the power of emotions into a gripping entertainment novel on two time levels. With great sensitivity, she portrays the authentic Ibiza of the 1970s.

The story is dramatic and exciting, with plenty of human depths and a touch of love.

Flightright – When passenger rights simply work

Flight delays, cancellations, or overbookings are unfortunately not uncommon. However, many passengers are unaware that they are entitled to compensation in such cases – and even fewer know how to pursue it. This is precisely where Flight right comes into play: a pioneer among legal tech companies and market leader in the field of air passenger rights.

Specialist in EU passenger rights since 2010

Since its founding in 2010, Flightright has pursued a clear goal: to help passengers assert their rights against airlines – quickly, easily, and risk-free. The legal basis for this is the EU Air Passenger Rights Regulation 261/2004, which, among other things, provides compensation of up to 600 euros for flight problems.

How Flightright works

Using the service is incredibly simple: Affected parties enter the key details of their flight online – within a few minutes, the system automatically checks whether a claim exists. If so, Flightright handles the entire process with the airline, including all legal steps. Even court proceedings can be conducted upon request – at no additional cost to the customer.

The highlight: Payment is only made if the claim is successful. If no payout is made, there are no costs. If compensation is successful, Flightright retains a commission from the compensation amount. This model ensures maximum fairness and transparency.

Retroactive up to three years possible

Many people don’t know that even flights that took place in the past can still be compensated – usually up to three years retroactively. It is therefore worthwhile to have older cases reviewed again.

How much is the compensation?

The amount of compensation depends on the flight route:

  • EUR 250 for short distances up to 1.500 km
  • EUR 400 for medium-haul flights between 1.500 km and 3.500 km
  • EUR 600 for long distances over 3.500 km

This usually requires an arrival delay of at least three hours – or a flight cancelled at short notice for which the airline is responsible.

Why Flightright?

What sets Flightright apart is not only its fair success model, but also its impressive success rate of around 99% in legal proceedings. With over 600 million euros in compensation payments enforced Flightright is one of the absolute pioneers in Europe.

The provider also scores points with transparent communication: The status of the case can be viewed online at any time – conveniently from the sofa or on the go via smartphone.

For all those who do not want to be left with the damage

No one should forgo their right to compensation just because the process seems complicated. With Flightright, asserting your rights is child's play – without any stress, paperwork, or legal fees. Anyone who has experienced flight trouble can now easily protect themselves and have their compensation pursued professionally.

Check here whether you are entitled to money – and in the best case scenario, receive compensation soon
