People from Ibiza: Johanna Hüttmann
Johanna first visited Ibiza in 2011, an island she had only ever heard of as beautiful and relaxing. Her first impression back then was that she could hardly believe that such a magical place could exist on this earth. She vividly remembers the feeling of freedom, the sun on her skin and the indescribable beauty of Aguas Blancas, the first beach she visited back then. In 2020, shortly before the first lockdown, Johanna finally moved to Ibiza. She didn't originally plan to stay here permanently, but saw the island as just a stopover on her journey to explore the world. Her move was therefore rather spontaneous. During the lockdown, she experienced the peace and nature of Ibiza intensively and then decided to make the island her home.
In 2018, Johanna founded her own company after her first yoga teacher training in India. At the time, she thought yoga would be her main business and couldn't imagine doing anything else. Johanna started practicing yoga in 2013 and discovered the healing effects of gentle movements, the connection with the breath and the feeling of inner peace after every yoga session. After trying out various courses such as law, history & German studies, theater studies and media studies, it was clear to her that yoga would be her path. She initially taught in various yoga studios in Düsseldorf, Mexico and Arizona, but Johanna soon realized that she wanted to learn more about alternative holistic healing methods. She completed training in breathwork & coaching, water therapy, energy work and trauma-informed plant medicine support, and finally specialized in the area of nervous system-oriented, trauma-sensitive work.

Today, Johanna's clients are primarily looking for support to get back in touch with their body. She works with her clients using yoga, breathwork, somatic work and inner parts approaches.
Johanna fondly remembers the Ibiza she experienced over 10 years ago. "The beaches were emptier and there were fewer tourists on the island. It felt a little more like an insider tip." But despite the changes, Johanna has not lost the island's flair, contrary to what many visitors claim. For her, Ibiza is still the magical place she loved back then. Her favourite café is Can Guimo on San Joan Road and her favourite restaurant changes regularly - but currently it is Chez Bibi in Santa Gertrudis.
During the day, Johanna can often be found in the forest or by the sea, lost in thought.
What Johanna doesn't like about Ibiza is that it has become increasingly expensive for locals to live on the island. Rent prices have risen enormously and living space has become extremely scarce. As a result, the interesting and alternative people who made this place so colorful are gradually disappearing from the island.

Flightright – When passenger rights simply work
Flight delays, cancellations, or overbookings are unfortunately not uncommon. However, many passengers are unaware that they are entitled to compensation in such cases – and even fewer know how to pursue it. This is precisely where Flight right comes into play: a pioneer among legal tech companies and market leader in the field of air passenger rights.
Specialist in EU passenger rights since 2010
Since its founding in 2010, Flightright has pursued a clear goal: to help passengers assert their rights against airlines – quickly, easily, and risk-free. The legal basis for this is the EU Air Passenger Rights Regulation 261/2004, which, among other things, provides compensation of up to 600 euros for flight problems.
How Flightright works
Using the service is incredibly simple: Affected parties enter the key details of their flight online – within a few minutes, the system automatically checks whether a claim exists. If so, Flightright handles the entire process with the airline, including all legal steps. Even court proceedings can be conducted upon request – at no additional cost to the customer.
The highlight: Payment is only made if the claim is successful. If no payout is made, there are no costs. If compensation is successful, Flightright retains a commission from the compensation amount. This model ensures maximum fairness and transparency.
Retroactive up to three years possible
Many people don’t know that even flights that took place in the past can still be compensated – usually up to three years retroactively. It is therefore worthwhile to have older cases reviewed again.
How much is the compensation?
The amount of compensation depends on the flight route:
- EUR 250 for short distances up to 1.500 km
- EUR 400 for medium-haul flights between 1.500 km and 3.500 km
- EUR 600 for long distances over 3.500 km
This usually requires an arrival delay of at least three hours – or a flight cancelled at short notice for which the airline is responsible.
Why Flightright?
What sets Flightright apart is not only its fair success model, but also its impressive success rate of around 99% in legal proceedings. With over 600 million euros in compensation payments enforced Flightright is one of the absolute pioneers in Europe.
The provider also scores points with transparent communication: The status of the case can be viewed online at any time – conveniently from the sofa or on the go via smartphone.
For all those who do not want to be left with the damage
No one should forgo their right to compensation just because the process seems complicated. With Flightright, asserting your rights is child's play – without any stress, paperwork, or legal fees. Anyone who has experienced flight trouble can now easily protect themselves and have their compensation pursued professionally.
