The legendary Las Dalias Night Market is coming to a close this weekend with a closing edition from September 28th to 30th. Starting at 19 p.m., visitors can stroll through the colorful stalls and discover handmade products one last time. Live music will also immerse the market in a magical atmosphere. Culinary offerings will round out the experience and invite you to linger. The Night Market's farewell also marks the transition to the fall season in Ibiza.
• In Can Misses, near the UD Ibiza stadium, a camper van parked on Calle Campanitx was completely gutted on Saturday afternoon. The fire broke out around 18:20 p.m., the cause of which is still unknown. Residents immediately alerted emergency services, who quickly arrived on the scene. Despite the intense flames, no other vehicles were damaged. A thick cloud of smoke engulfed the surrounding apartments, causing great concern in the neighborhood.
• In Sant Josep, around fifty people protested in front of the town hall to draw attention to the protection of cats on the island. They demanded consistent regulation and increased measures against wild breeding. A key concern was that local authorities take consistent action against illegal animal husbandry. ● On 15. October Work will begin on the dangerous Cazadores roundabout, where the roads from Santa Eulària, Sant Joan, and Sant Rafel intersect. The project is considered the most important road construction project of the current legislative period. At least 15 people have reclaimed their homes to draw attention to the precarious conditions. The conflict over Don Pepe has been going on for years, with 20 families forcibly displaced after the building was declared ruinous.
