Trace Harris: The creative mind behind the Ibango Tribe
The founder of the Ibango Tribe is Trace Harris, a man with an extraordinary life story.
Born in Great Britain, Harris began his career as a club promoter in London, including for the world-famous “Ministry of Sound”.
Despite outward success, he felt an increasing emptiness and longing for real connection inside.
This search led him to Ibiza, where he reoriented his life.
Here he founded “The Gathering”, open jam sessions in an old music school near Sant Rafel.
These sessions soon became a meeting place for musicians, artists and music lovers from all over the world – the origin of what would later become the Ibango Tribe.
