Walk in Santa Eulalia from the Riu River, along the seafront promenade to the marina
Recently we went to Santa Eulalia a one-hour walk and tested the Komoot app. Our start and end point was the Ajuntament de Santa Eulària del Riu town hall on Plaza España. We took a photo of every significant location along the route, which Komoot marks as a highlight in the app. These highlights can be described afterwards, but the photos taken can only be viewed using the app, which is seen as a major disadvantage. An alternative, albeit more cumbersome, method is to take the photos with the regular photo app and manually add them to the highlights after the tour. Apart from that, the app is extremely useful and offers a variety of tours for bikers and hikers alike. In the coming days, we plan to test the Wikiloc app – a potentially better alternative to Komoot?
For those who would like to explore Santa Eulalia on foot, the route is easy to follow. On the way back, it's a good idea to stroll through the city's alleys and experience the hustle and bustle.
