Carnival 2026 in Santa Eulalia

The streets of Santa Eulària transformed into a vibrant sea of color, music, and exuberant atmosphere on Tuesday. More than 900 participants in the traditional carnival parade wound their way through the town, delighting the numerous spectators with imaginative costumes and elaborately designed floats.

The parade started at 17:00 PM on Calle Salvador Camacho in front of the Palacio de Congresos and proceeded through several central streets to the heart of the city. Long before it began, there was a flurry of activity: groups rehearsed their choreography, final details were adjusted on costumes, and sound systems were tested – the anticipation was palpable everywhere.

Creativity with a message

The diversity of the themes once again reflected the creativity of the participants. The spectrum ranged from elaborately staged fantasy worlds with dragons and thrones to characters from classic films and video game icons. Several large-scale model cars, designed with meticulous attention to detail, were particularly impressive.

Besides imagination and humor, some groups also used the parade to address social issues. Messages about animal welfare or the problem of affordable housing were incorporated into creative costume ideas. Many costumes were also made from recycled materials, thus making a statement for sustainability.

Competition and prize money

As in previous years, the parade was also a competition. A total of more than €8.000 in prize money was awarded in various categories – including school groups, adults, children, and special prizes. Special recognition was given to original overall concepts, elaborate stage sets on wheels, and the dance and musical performances of the groups.

A celebration for the whole community

The carnival parade is one of the most popular events in Santa Eulària's annual calendar. Families, friends, and visitors from the surrounding area lined the streets, applauding, dancing, and celebrating together.

With music, creativity, and a strong sense of community, the town once again showed its most joyful side – a colorful start to the carnival season that will surely be remembered for a long time. 🎉

Flightright – When passenger rights simply work

Flight delays, cancellations, or overbookings are unfortunately not uncommon. However, many passengers are unaware that they are entitled to compensation in such cases – and even fewer know how to pursue it. This is precisely where Flight right comes into play: a pioneer among legal tech companies and market leader in the field of air passenger rights.

Specialist in EU passenger rights since 2010

Since its founding in 2010, Flightright has pursued a clear goal: to help passengers assert their rights against airlines – quickly, easily, and risk-free. The legal basis for this is the EU Air Passenger Rights Regulation 261/2004, which, among other things, provides compensation of up to 600 euros for flight problems.

How Flightright works

Using the service is incredibly simple: Affected parties enter the key details of their flight online – within a few minutes, the system automatically checks whether a claim exists. If so, Flightright handles the entire process with the airline, including all legal steps. Even court proceedings can be conducted upon request – at no additional cost to the customer.

The highlight: Payment is only made if the claim is successful. If no payout is made, there are no costs. If compensation is successful, Flightright retains a commission from the compensation amount. This model ensures maximum fairness and transparency.

Retroactive up to three years possible

Many people don’t know that even flights that took place in the past can still be compensated – usually up to three years retroactively. It is therefore worthwhile to have older cases reviewed again.

How much is the compensation?

The amount of compensation depends on the flight route:

  • EUR 250 for short distances up to 1.500 km
  • EUR 400 for medium-haul flights between 1.500 km and 3.500 km
  • EUR 600 for long distances over 3.500 km

This usually requires an arrival delay of at least three hours – or a flight cancelled at short notice for which the airline is responsible.

Why Flightright?

What sets Flightright apart is not only its fair success model, but also its impressive success rate of around 99% in legal proceedings. With over 600 million euros in compensation payments enforced Flightright is one of the absolute pioneers in Europe.

The provider also scores points with transparent communication: The status of the case can be viewed online at any time – conveniently from the sofa or on the go via smartphone.

For all those who do not want to be left with the damage

No one should forgo their right to compensation just because the process seems complicated. With Flightright, asserting your rights is child's play – without any stress, paperwork, or legal fees. Anyone who has experienced flight trouble can now easily protect themselves and have their compensation pursued professionally.

Check here whether you are entitled to money – and in the best case scenario, receive compensation soon
